THE ‘WIPROTEL’ CONCEPT:
Wipro set out to create workplaces that combine hospitality-inspired comfort with the functionality of a modern office, ensuring a consistent experience across its UK and European locations. The approach responds to the growing need for enhanced client engagement and a unified culture for employees, wherever they work.
To date, new offices have been delivered in London, Paris and Stuttgart, with more underway. The concept, named Wiprotel from Wipro + hotel, is designed as a “home away from home” — instantly recognisable and welcoming for employees, while offering clients a premium experience across borders.
BRINGING WIPROTEL TO LIFE IN LONDON:
In London, the 24,500 sq ft headquarters was designed by M Moser Associates to embody the Wiprotel ethos: high-performance workspaces balanced with the ease and warmth of hospitality. Every detail, from furniture to lighting, was curated to create a workplace that feels both elevated and effortless.
THE ROLE OF PLANTING:
Benholm Group was commissioned to design and install a planting scheme that would complement this vision. Our role was to ensure greenery was not an afterthought, but a central design element that softened architectural lines, enriched collaborative zones, and introduced a sense of calm throughout the space.
Overhead planting creates bold visual statements while breaking down the scale of open-plan areas.
Lounge and meeting space planting adds warmth and comfort, encouraging people to settle in and connect.
Standalone displays provide elegance and flexibility, bringing nature into circulation spaces and touchpoints across the office.
Planting was treated with the same level of intent as the furniture and finishes — a natural layer of hospitality that makes the workplace polished, human and unmistakably Wipro.
THE RESULTS:
The result is a workspace where hospitality and functionality meet. Planting contributes to an environment that supports wellbeing, enhances client engagement, and helps employees feel at home in a setting they are proud to share.
