We’re proud to congratulate our client Santa Lucia West End on being awarded an AA Rosette, a respected mark of culinary excellence across the UK and Ireland.

Located on Byres Road, the West End restaurant is the sister venue to the original Santa Lucia in Glasgow’s Merchant City. Its menu draws inspiration from a variety of Italian regions, with handmade pasta, traditional techniques, and a strong focus on quality Scottish produce.

Speaking to Glasgow Times, Head Chef Michele said, “We are thrilled to receive this recognition. Our team is passionate about bringing a true taste of Italy to Glasgow, and this award is a testament to their hard work and dedication.”

The AA Rosette Awards, established in 1956 by The AA, are among the most respected benchmarks in the restaurant industry. Rosettes are awarded to restaurants that stand out in their local area by offering food prepared with care, understanding, and skill using quality ingredients. Receiving even one rosette places a restaurant in the top 10 percent of venues in the UK.

Santa Lucia West End has also been recognised for its interiors, described by Glasgow Times as “cosy” and “reminiscent of the Amalfi Coast,” with faux lemon trees and Mediterranean greenery helping to create a warm, transportive atmosphere.

These striking displays were designed, installed and are maintained by our team here at Benholm Group. The planting scheme was developed to complement the restaurant’s vision and enhance the customer experience, using foliage and finishing touches that feel authentic, vibrant and full of character.
