Congratulations to our friends at Scotwood Interiors on being shortlisted for the FIS Scottish Awards 2024.
Scotwood is a national leader in turnkey project interior fit-outs and office refurbishments throughout Scotland, and this nomination further cements their reputation for excellence. This latest recognition follows their success at the 2023 FIS Awards, where they were awarded Best Interior Fit-Out for their work on Kin & Carta.
The FIS Scottish Awards aim to promote and encourage high levels of craftsmanship in the finishes and interiors sector carried out in Scotland. All winners will be announced at the FIS Scottish Awards Lunch at voco Grand Central Hotel in Glasgow on 20 September 2024.
Their shortlisting is for the stunning Category B fit-out of Rabbies at 22 Rose Street, Edinburgh—a project we were proud to be part of.
Working with Form Design Consultants, Scotwood Interiors completed an impressive 6,000 sq ft Category B fit-out on the 4th floor of 22 Rose Street. The office, with extensive glazing that offers stunning views of Edinburgh’s Old Town and Castle, also features a private roof terrace—an enviable addition for any workplace.
The 10-week programme transformed the space into a modern, functional office environment, featuring:
Despite last-minute challenges, such as the unexpected administration of the client’s furniture supplier, Scotwood’s dedication ensured the project was completed to the highest standard.
While Scotwood Interiors expertly handled the structural and design elements, our team were proud to contribute to the overall workplace environment by installing vibrant plant displays throughout the office. These biophilic elements, placed in breakout areas and collaborative spaces, enhance the visual appeal while promoting employee well-being. Research has shown that integrating nature into the workspace can boost productivity, reduce stress, and improve air quality—all factors that were considered in this award-nominated fit-out.
Benholm Group has had the pleasure of working with Scotwood on several projects, including Seebyte, Burges Salmon, Royal London Group, Circularity Capital, Pro DBA Ltd, and most recently, Kintyre House. Click below to explore their project portfolio.
